Access Control & Intercom Technician – Experienced
Security Surveillance System | Aurora, Colorado
Security Surveillance System has been serving Colorado since 2006. We are seeking an experienced Access Control & Intercom Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, program, troubleshoot, and service commercial access control and intercom systems.
- Work with card readers, door controllers, electric strikes, magnetic locks, request-to-exit devices, and related hardware.
- Perform system upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Configure network-based access control equipment and software.
- Complete installations independently from start to finish.
- Provide excellent customer service and technical support.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on access control installation and programming experience.
- Experience with systems such as Brivo, ICT, ButterflyMX, 2N, or comparable platforms.
- Strong understanding of low-voltage wiring, networking, and door hardware.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems independently.
- Experience with IP surveillance systems is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles.
- Comfortable working on ladders and lifts.

Important: This position requires previous professional access control experience. We are not seeking entry-level installers or trainees.
Compensation: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
